What is the Meaning of Life?

Life is all about marketing.

Really. Think about it.

In business in order to be successful you must first know your product or service inside-out and be able to promote it confidently and positively at any time and in any place. You must also know exactly who your ideal client is; so that instead of wasting time and energy marketing to the world at large, most of whom probably have no use for your services. You market directly and selectively to an ideal niche market.

In life to be successful we must take the time to get to know ourselves and our needs intimately. (we are the product) We will be most successful when we appear confidant and comfortable in our own skin. (positive promotion) And to be really happy we need to surround ourselves with positive people who respect us and nurture our growth. (target market)

For each of us, these aspects of “marketing” are as personal and individual as we are.

…and although Marketing yourself effectively might not be the meaning of life, perhaps it will get you that much closer to what the meaning of life is for you.

• To be open. New ideas can be scary, but sitting on them and never doing anything with them is a terrible waste, to achieve your dreams you will have to take action.
  
  
• To take a risk. When you leap into the unknown things happen. You must be ready to take risks and have faith that you can handle the outcome.
  
  
• To be ready for change. It's clear to you that holding onto what doesn't work no longer serves you and you are ready to hire a personal success coach. You may be fired up, apprehensive, or both. But you are definitely ready to stop dreaming about a better life and are ready to go after it.
  
  
• To go the extra mile to find solutions to your problems. You don't have to know all the answers. You do have to be willing to discover them and to pursue them consistently
  
  
• When you commit to a goal you are willing to do anything (legal) to fulfill it. And when you fail, you are ready to learn. A sure way to grow is to go after what matters to you. And part of growing is failing. You need to be able to bounce back when you fail. You need to learn, and move on.
